Activity Bar

Our assembly participate in parades, funeral honor guards, confirmations and will be represented at the fourth degree exemplification held annually at the Wyndam Hotel in Lisle, Illinois on the second weekend in Februrary.

The Assembly will have it’s installation of Officers on Saturday June 12, 2010.

All Officers are expected to attend the Installation and dinner. We would like all the Council Captains in attendance as well if possible.

Tuxedo is appropriate dress for the event. We will have an honor guard at the Mass. The Mass will begin at 5:00 pm, and our Faithful Friar will be presiding at the Mass, with dinner and awards presentations to follow.

We will be presenting the Sir Knight of the Month Certificates for the year, along with Sir Knight of the year, and other presentations.

In order to have enough food on hand, everyone is asked to RSVP as soon as possible. Please download the Installation RSVP form and drop it in the mail or contact the Faithful Navigator.

We are also asking each family attending to bring a desert to share. Please share this with the members of your Council and fellow Sir Knights that might not have e-mail.

Annual Assembly Family Picnic Will Be Held:

When:	Saturday, June 26, 2010
Where:	Home of Loni and Stella Howard 29 W 180 Pomeroy St. West Chicago, IL
Time:	3:00 am to 8:00 pm

Plan on making this another fun time for the family. The Howard"s home is located north or Route 38 (Roosevelt Road), South of County Road 21 (Washington Street) and west of Route 59 in West Chicago.

The cost of the picnic is $5 per person or $20 per family. The Assembly will provide the meat and beverages. There will also be a bags tournament for all.

The assembly is asking:

People whose last name begins with A - L are asked to bring a Salad to share.

People whose last name begins with M - Z are asked to bring a Desert to share.

We look forward to a fun picnic and a fun day for all.

In order to know how much food to prepare, we need for you to R.S.V.P. with the number of people attending.

This year, our assembly will be part of the Knights of Columbus organizations running the
"K of C Cafe" at the DuPage County Fair. This will be a great fundraiser for our assembly as K of C Cafe is the only air conditioned area serving food.

The assembly has been assigned to work Tuesday July 20, 2010 . We will be serving lunch and dinner that day. We will need three shifts of workers. The breakfast shift will work from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. The lunch shift will work from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The dinner shift will work from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

We will be the ONLY food vendor open that day as the fair officially opens on Wednesday,
July 21, 2010. We will need to provide food and beverages to personnel setting up the fair on that day. This should be a very busy day. Many of details have already been worked out. We will need help from the assembly.

Last years Benefit Barbeque was a success. Future fund raisers will be announced at a later time.
